Fearsome, the note of entering the unknown,
a motionless thought, unbreathing.
We wish before we allow ourselves to dream
where the bridge of safety lies between two hearts
,
the twin beats mirrored in my mind.
The barren empty of a charred oil drum
flames forgotten, are the many moments of marvel
your smile made in me - figures dancing on blue lines.
A wish before the dream comes or forever hold that piece of me,
with broken middle. A misconnection to the past solves not a
moment
of the future (when you continue to remember it).
Forgiving yourself is foremost for the most part
the beginning of something new, something big
to carry our moments in now - beauty lies in small things.
Your heart beat inside me.
A woman can carry two hearts and make the best
of a
bending spine and her opening hips, to deliver
and reclaim herself for who she truly is.
I defy all thinkers to rethink the notion behind penitence
It is not a cheap experiment, it is a never-ending bill of fare,
it is the pinnacle, it is mother earth.
Thanks for taking a minute to read my response to the day 18 prompt:
Invent the Future by Cindy Gallop
A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages. Yet he dismisses without notice his thought, because it is his. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
My favorite quote of all time is Alan Kay: ‘In order to predict the future, you have to invent it.’ I am all about inventing the future. Decide what you want the future to be and make it happen. Because you can. Write about your future now.
